Painting in Pastels is a class suited for beginners and intermediate students. Those who are more advanced may feel a bit ahead of the game for the first class, but all foundational principles of working in the medium, such as types of pastels, best materials and tools to use, and techniques as they relate specifically to pastels, will be covered that can be of benefit to artists of all degrees of experience.
Students will explore proportion, shading, perspective, and composition as they gradually develop their own style and confidence.
Take this workshop and turn fabric into art using easy creative techniques to design beautiful, layered images.
In this class, participants will learn essential watercolor techniques including brushwork and control, color mixing and blending, water and pigment balance.
