Campers ages 6-10 will rotate between art activities including: music, theatre, visual art, and dance/movement that tie into our fun weekly themes. (Campers will be divided into appropriate age groups.)
WK 1: Wild Kingdom (June 6-10)
ROAR!!!! It’s a jungle out there! Campers explore the wildest parts of their creative side, ‘traversing” regions around the world to discover and become the world’s wildest animals. Campers will dance to the beat of their own rhythmic drums and create abstract art for the summer’s first and wildest Show & Share!

WK 2: Great Art Escape (June 13-17)
Teamwork makes the dream work. Campers work as an ensemble to solve riddles, participate in escape rooms, develop strategies, and design mind-boggling puzzles within art, music, theatre, and dance. See if YOU can solve or escape their enigmas in this week’s Show & Share.

WK 3: Mythical Creature Feature (June 20-24)
Dragons, unicorns, trolls, and mermaids oh my! Tame wild mystical monsters before they take over camp! Campers will create “sock”-ness monster puppets, learn puppeteering skills, invent a new mythical beast, or even become one themselves for this week’s Show & Share!

WK 4: Superheroes! (June 27 – July 1)
With great power comes great responsibility. Campers discover their inner superpowers. Campers will train with us honing their super abilities, dodge intense obstacles and draw their own hero comic! The heroes write their stories and show it all off in a supercharged Show & Share.

WK 5: Wet, Wild & Wacky (July 6-8) / *3-day week
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Carrollwood Camp Water Games! Campers attend a fun-filled three days of wet, wild, and wacky water games. Each day will include an outside water activity, games, and more! (There is no Show & Share this week.)

WK 6: Ancient History (July 11-15)
Walk (or dance) like an Egyptian, train like a gladiator, and paint frescos like Michelangelo. This week campers will learn about life in ancient cultures and put their own spin on historical tales passed down through the ages. This week’s Show and Share is sure to transport us back in time! WK 7: 007 Spy Week (July 18-22)
Your mission, should you choose to accept it campers, become a top-secret spy. This message will self-destruct when this camp begins. Invent top-secret items to increase stealth and skill, conquer in-depth obstacle courses, and become masters of disguise for the most action-packed Show & Share.

WK 8: Adventurers Week (July 25-29)
Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it, we go nowhere. – Carl Sagan. Campers will dive deep into their imagination to trek dense jungle, sail the high seas to battle pirates, rub a magic lamp to meet a genie, rescue a damsel in distress, maybe even travel to space and live to tell all the tales of their harrowing escapades in this week’s Show and Share.

WK 9: Magical Mysteries (August 1-5)
Abracadabra! Magic wands at the ready! Students will enchant the end of the summer with their magical powers, design magic wands, mix potions, and put a spell on you with their sensational dance moves. Summer will close out with the most magical Show & Share to date!

- Non-Member: $230 / week ($138 for Week 5)
4 Ways to Register
1.) Mail/Email: Download a 2022 CAMP REGISTRATION PACKET and send the completed forms via mail to 4537 Lowell Road; Tampa, FL 33618, or email them to [email protected]. (If you are having trouble completing the form online, please don’t worry. You can print it out and complete it by hand, too!)
2.) Online: Non-refundable online processing fees apply. Additional paperwork is required after registering. (Early Bird Discount Code (expires April 30): EARLYBIRD)
3.) Phone: Call (813) 922-8167 to register over the phone with a credit card.
4.) In-Person: Visit the Center Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; or Saturday, 10 a.m. – noon.
(Please register the Thursday before the start of camp on any given week to help us best prepare for the arrival of your child. Registrations received after Thursday will incur a $15 late registration fee.)
