Camp for ages 6-10

Campers ages 6-10 will rotate between art activities that tie into our fun weekly themes, including music, theatre, visual art, and dance/movement. (Campers will be divided into appropriate age groups.)

2024 Themes

Myths & Legends
June 3-7 (Week 1)

Legend has it that long ago, at a camp not so different from ours, students battled evil, saved damsels or distressed dudes, and taught monsters how to make friends through the power of storytelling. To honor those myths and legends from long ago, our heroes will study famous – or infamous – ancient stories passed down through the ages with theatre games, original art, movement, music, and the power of imagination for our Friday Show & Share.

Myths & Legends is sold out for ages 6-8. (Space is still available for ages 9-10.)

Raiders of the Lost Art
June 10-14 (Week 2)

Adventure! Danger! Suspense! Prepare yourself for a journey into lost catacombs and dive into history. Have your excavation tools handy; thwart the thieves of art history, engage with friends in some of the world’s most significant unsolved mysteries, and present your knowledge at the Friday Show & Show.

Fractured Fairytales
June 17-21 (Week 3)

Once upon a time, a topsy-turvy summer camp full of mischievous children scrambled all of the world’s fairytales! This week, campers embark on a storytelling adventure to remember as they reassemble well-known fairytales. They will learn plot, character creation, conflict, resolution, and more through art, music, theatre, and dance. The sky is the limit when they engage their imaginations and share their original tales at the Friday Show & Share.
