GRAMMY-nominated jazz guitarist Diego Figueiredo will perform at the Carrollwood Cultural Center located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa on June 3 at 8 p.m.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center and the Village Garden Circle celebrated Arbor Day by planting a little gem magnolia on the left side of the main building, adjacent to Lowell Road.

Food & Folk-Art Festival is coming to Carrollwood on May 21

The outdoor event will feature food trucks, storytelling and puppetry with Windell Campbell at 11 a.m., a folk dance performance with Grupo Folklorico Mahetzi at noon, and live music with Liam Bauman (pictured) at 1:15 p.m., Rebekah Pulley at 2:45 p.m., His Hem at 4:15 p.m., and Ari Chi at 5:45 p.m.

Carrollwood Cultural Center announces its ‘Summer of 1969’ concert series

The center announced its much-anticipated Summer of 1969 concert series last week that will begin in July and run through August. The series features three events, though the center will host other live concerts throughout the summer as well.

Center Announces its ‘Summer of 1969’ Concert Series

The Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, will celebrate the music of 1969 with three concert events, including tributes to David Bowie, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and more, during its “Summer of 1969” series.

“Sonata, Songs & Dances” will feature a sonata by Beethoven and a variety of short pieces, including transcriptions of songs by Liszt and dances by Chopin.
