The Center is introducing a new series of free and educational lectures titled The Art of […] with guest speakers who will discuss everyday life by focusing on topics such as tattooing, survival, therapy, motherhood, literature, tea, etiquette, and storytelling.

“Flamenco is a beautiful dance form. It originally comes from Spain,” Flamenco Tropical Artistic Director Jessica Pacheco said. “There is classical Spanish dance, where you use castanets, shawls, fans. We are actually percussionists.”

More Art, Dance & Wellness Classes are Coming in 2022

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is adding several new classes and workshops for children and adults to its arts-based curriculum for 2022. New courses include Portrait Drawing, Painting with Acrylics, Expressive Tangling, Creative Writing, ZUMBA Gold®, Father/Daughter Ballroom Dancing, body-confidence dance classes, and wellness classes.
