    Sure, you can do crunches, but why crunch when you can dance?

    Belly dancing is a ton of fun, but there are a lot of health benefits, too. The benefits of belly dancing can be both physical and mental. Stronger muscles, healthy heart, flexibility, coordination, and could achieve weight loss (pounds and inches) – what’s not to like? Plus, it increases oxytocin and dopamine, self-esteem, confidence, and coordination. 

    Dance skills are not required to participate in this class.

    • Soft shoes, socks, or ballet slippers (no sneakers or heels)
    • Adult students will need six yards of sheer fabric for veils for veil work and coin hip belts (these can also be purchased from the instructor)
