Medical Taiji Qigong
- Class Description
Relaxed, accessible Qigong exercises adapted from Yang-style Taiji. No experience necessary. These moves are not only enjoyable and relaxing, they are also excellent for improving balance, strength, and coordination! You can do these moves standing, in a chair, or a combination of both, according to your ability and comfort.Brian Lau is a Traditional Chinese Medicine physician trained to provide individualized guidance that aligns with your specific health improvement goals. If you have no special medical needs, but this time works best for you, you will still get a great workout in this class! No special equipment required, but please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and flat, athletic-friendly shoes for stability. Please avoid sandals, slides, or running shoes that turn up at the toe; basic, inexpensive sneakers are ideal, or any special shoes your doctor has recommended for you.
