During this time of constant change, here is what you can expect from the Center. Please check back often as we continue to adapt as things evolve.
General Information for Entering the Building
Our hours of administrative assistance will be Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon.
Staff hours will be staggered throughout the day. Therefore, if you need to contact a specific staff person, please call the front office or send an email before visiting the Center to confirm his/her availability.
To ensure we are compliant with current social distancing/crowd gathering regulations, we will keep the front doors locked to better help us manage the number of people in the building. Please call the front office at (813) 922-8167 to request entry. There is also a doorbell installed to let us know when you have arrived.
We ask everyone who enters the building to wear a protective face mask to cover the nose and mouth. We also ask that all who enter use the hand sanitizing stations at the entrance. A staff member will take your temperature using a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer and may give you a COVID-19 questionnaire.
If you are coming to attend a function, please bring a water bottle as our water fountains are temporarily closed.
We will continue to offer some online classes throughout the spring.
In-person classes will be offered with a reduced, limited capacity of students permitted in each class.
We will continue to plan our entertainment schedule and will evaluate each event over time to determine the best course of action with regards to the most updated safety guidelines.
For our live entertainment events, we will reduce our capacity to 20% (40 seats). Seating will be arranged based on tickets purchased to ensure proper social distancing. Individuals and groups of four or fewer will be seated according to social distancing guidelines. Staff and volunteers will escort your party to your assigned seats. We ask for your cooperation as we work to accommodate everything while maintaining social distancing.
We will lock or block off every other stall or urinal in the restrooms to ensure social distancing.

Room Rental Program
Due to COVID-19, we have decreased the capacity of our rooms to help ensure social distancing. CLICK HERE to see the updated capacity per room.
The Monday Bridge Group will restart on 9/14/20 with limited space available. Email Rob at [email protected] for details.
All other group activities (chorus, band, etc.) are on hold. We will continue to monitor things to help determine when to re-introduce them.

Safety is our top priority. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the state, Hillsborough County, and the CDC. If you don’t feel comfortable visiting us just yet, that’s OK. We understand. We hope you’ll consider picking up the phone to call and say hello. If you’re longing for the day when you can just walk in through our front doors without calling first, rest assured, so are we. Community is at the heart of who we are. It’s why we do what we do, and we want to be fully accessible. Hopefully soon.
Everyone has been affected by COVID-19 in some way. Please be kind. Be patient. Be safe. And be ready to have some fun at the Center.
