The Carrollwood Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is making significant changes to its membership program starting October 1, 2021.
Established before the Center opened in 2008, officials created the membership program to build community support and develop a built-in audience for its programming. For an annual donation, members helped contribute to the Center’s success. As a thank you, members received special pricing for performance tickets, tuition, and room rentals.
Members have been loyal and supportive throughout the Center’s 13-year history, helping build a solid foundation that has enabled the organization to grow and flourish through various economic challenges, including the ongoing pandemic. (READ MORE about how the Center is coming back stronger.)
Now the Center is finding new ways to thank donors for supporting its mission through donor-friendly enhancements to the membership program.
In addition to receiving special pricing on performance tickets, class and summer camp tuition, and room rentals, members will receive thank you gifts for enrolling in the program at the Individual, Household, Patron, Producer, and Executive Producer levels. Gifts include an acrylic lapel pin, coffee mug, tote bag, T-shirt, polo shirt, and performance tickets.
Members can pay for an annual membership upfront or in recurring monthly installments through the website. Recurring donors will receive an additional thank you gift.
Making a Difference
The support given through the membership program makes an impact in providing quality programming to the community. For example, an annual pledge of:
- $5 per month can purchase award ribbons and installation supplies for one art exhibition
- $10 per month can partially cover the cost of a guest speaker
- $25 per month can cover 1/3 the cost of purchasing music for a single-run, smaller musical
- $42 per month can purchase an annual Zoom subscription for virtual classes
- $84 per month can help with half the cost of artist fees for an outdoor concert
