Welcome

What is the Carrollwood Cultural Center?

It’s where a 5-year-old girl discovers that she’s an artist, a 70-year-old man discovers he’s a musician, a 35-year-old woman learns ballet and a family grows stronger by sharing the stage together.

It’s the banquet hall where Anna married Luis. It’s the meeting room where Jennifer launched her career. It’s the stage where Oliver found a family and a Music Man traded swindling for love.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is much more than a building. It’s the place where strangers become friends and friends become family.

Above all, it’s a place where a community came together to  prove—and continue to prove–that ordinary citizens can, through their labors and generosity, determine the culture of the place in which they live out their lives.

Under the Big Green Roof

Located in the heart of Carrollwood Village, our campus includes a main building complete with a stage, dance floor, art studios, computer lab and conference rooms as well as a sister building, The Studio, which provides additional space for classes, performances, room rentals and gallery displays.

The Arts & Community

The magic of the Carrollwood Cultural Center began several years ago with a special partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of Carrollwood Cultural Center (FCCC), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents through arts and culture. Together, they have brought the community together through the arts.

Classes & Camps

At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, you are invited to learn a new skill, revisit an old one, or simply “do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do.”

Through art, ceramics, dance, music and theatre you will gain a new appreciation for the arts – perhaps even discover a talent you never knew you had. Regardless of the reason, there is always something new and exciting to learn at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.

Events & Performances

At the Carrollwood Cultural Center, magic is around every corner. Music fills the air, colors dress the walls, dancers float on stage and drama evokes emotion. The Center has been honored to host an array of local talents from visual artists, instrumentalists, singers, dancers and theatre groups. We look forward to introducing more area talent through future performances and concerts. Who knows? Perhaps our next headliner will be you!
