Junk Journaling for Teens

  • Class Description

    This expressive art journaling class allows students to turnJunk Art Journal(1) everyday mementos into meaningful art. Using ticket stubs, pictures, notes, etc., students will create a unique journal that reflects their stories and memories. The three-week course will encourage self-expression and storytelling through art. Students will engage with mixed-media journaling techniques using personal ephemera, develop design and composition skills, and engage in a fun environment safe for artistic exploration.

    • Artist Loft Mixed Media Notebook (or comparable) 9×12 inches suitable for painting acrylic, watercolor, sketching and practicing drawing techniques
    • Any personal items such as pictures, concert stubs, plane tickets, notes, for your journal
