Drawing for Teens

  • Class Description

    This six-week drawing class is designed for teens ages 11 to 13 who are excited to explore their creativity and enhance their drawing skills. Students will learn fundamental drawing techniques such as line work, shading, proportion, and perspective while working with various materials, including pencils and charcoal. The course is tailored for beginner and intermediate young artists with personalized instruction to help each student grow independently.

  • Required Materials
    • Artist Loft Pencil Kit (or comparable) this kit should include pencils ranging from 8H to 8B
    • Kneaded eraser
    • Sharpener
    • Blending sticks
    • Artists Loft Drawing notebook (or comparable), 9×12 inches suitable for sketching and practicing drawing techniques
    • Charcoal sticks for experimenting with shading and depth,
    • All of these are available at local art stores or online
