Design & Paint a Mural

This 12-week class will teach teens the concept and design behind the mural making.

During the first six weeks (Wednesdays at 6:30-8 pm starting January 5 through February 9), students will meet with local muralists, discuss design styles, develop concepts, and design a mural to paint on an external wall of the Carrollwood Cultural Center.

During the second six weeks (Saturdays at 9:30 am-noon starting February 23 through March 30), students will transfer their design to the wall, paint it, and watch their very own art come to life!

At the end of the 12-week session, we will host an opening of the mural with a ribbon-cutting celebration on April 9.
