Center to be COVID-19 Vaccination Site on June 12, 2021

Through a partnership with the Hillsborough County Department of Health, the Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, will serve as a federal COVID-19 vaccination site on Saturday, June 12, from 9 am to 3 pm.

The vaccination will be available for ages 12 and older, and no appointment is necessary. A government-issued form of identification is required, and those under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present.

Dr. Charlie Sand, MD, FACEP, FACP, FAHA, will be available throughout the day to answer any questions regarding the vaccine.  Dr. Sand is the COVID-19 volunteer medical advisor for Hillsborough County, City of Tampa, Tampa Department of Health, State of Florida, and the National COVID-19 Advisory committee.

All individuals receiving the vaccine will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Carrollwood Cultural Center redeemable for events, classes, and room rentals.
