Center Partners with Hillsborough Department of Health on COVID-19 Livestream on June 9, 2021

Dr. Charlie Sand, MD, FACEP, FACP, FAHA, will conduct a Facebook Live event to address myths related to the COVID-19 vaccination for adults, adolescences, and children on Wednesday, June 9, from 7 pm to 8 pm. He will answer questions regarding COVID-19 safety during camp, summer activities, and back to school.  

Viewers can access the live stream and ask questions through the Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Facebook page at @carrollwoodculturalcenter.

Dr. Sand is the COVID-19 volunteer medical advisor for Hillsborough County, City of Tampa, Tampa Department of Health, State of Florida, and the National COVID-19 Advisory committee.  He also serves as the medical director and medical advisor for the Hillsborough Community College (HCC) EMS Training Program. He is the past president of the Florida American Heart Association.
