Beginner Watercolor for Adults

  • Class Description

    Watercolor class and workshop iconOver six weeks, participants will learn essential watercolor techniques, including brushwork and control, color mixing and blending, and water and pigment balance. Students will also learn how to create washes, gradients, and composition with layering techniques. The class will focus on developing confidence and creative expression each week, building on foundational skills. By the end of the course, students will have completed several watercolor pieces and developed their painting style.

    • Watercolor paint set: Grabie 50 Vibrant colors watercolor paint set or comparable
    • Brushes: Soucolor Acrylic Paint Brushes set – 20pcs round pointed tip artist paint brushes )(or comparable)
    • Watercolor paper – Strathmore 300 series watercolor paper 140lb cold press 9×12 inches (or comparable)
    • Palette: plastic or ceramic mixing palette
    • Masking or painters tape
    • Cups for water
    • Paper towels
    • Washcloth
    • Chamois cloth (same size as wash cloth)
