Carrollwood Cultural Center at Daybreak - 845x321

A Message from Ruth Levy

When I began to work with the Carrollwood Cultural Center more than ten years ago, I never imagined the impact it would have on me. We worked hard to establish a professional volunteer program of which I am extremely proud and could not have done without input from each of you. Working with the volunteers was so much fun! There was always happiness in the air and I really admired how willing the volunteers were to work together for the benefit of our local community.

Unfortunately, 2020 had a major impact on all of us and life as we knew it changed drastically. We went from more than 4,100 volunteer hours among 67 volunteers to just over 1,000 hours among 12 very committed and hard-working individuals. The Carrollwood Cultural Center relies on the dedication of its volunteers who have become like family.

While I will miss working with you all, 2020 has been a year of change and transition, and I will be moving on from the Carrollwood Cultural Center as of the end of the year. I look forward to hearing of the continued accomplishments of the Carrollwood Cultural Center and wish you all great success in the year ahead.

Ruth
