Meet Development Director Dana Warner

The Carrollwood Cultural Center welcomes Dana Warner as the organization’s new development director in charge of fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship, and member management.

Warner currently serves on the board of directors for the nonprofit Tempus Projects and has been its treasurer since 2018. Warner worked at Hillsborough County Public Schools for 20 years; seven years as Supervisor for K-12 Art Education, and 13 years as a high school art teacher specializing in sculpture and photography. Before working for the school district, Warner was the Assistant Curator of Education at the Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland, FL, and Curator of Education at the Florida Gulf Coast Art Center in Belleair Beach, FL. Warner earned a master’s degree in Art Education and a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is an arts-based nonprofit located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, FL. The Center’s mission is to “creature culture through community and community through culture.”
