Drawing for Kids

This 6-week drawing class is designed for children ages 8 to 10 who are excited to explore their creativity and enhance their drawing skills. Students will learn fundamental drawing techniques such as line work, shading, propositions, and perspective while working with various materials, including pencils and charcoal. The course is tailored to beginner and intermediate young artists with personalized instruction to help each student grow independently.

Art Room I

• Artist Loft Pencil Kit (or comparable) this kit should include pencils ranging from 8H to 8B
• Kneaded eraser, sharpener, and blending sticks
• Artists Loft Drawing notebook (or comparable) 9″x12″ suitable for sketching and practicing drawing techniques
• Charcoal sticks, for experimenting with shading and depth
• (All of these are available at local art stores or online)
