    Comic Book & Manga CreationDuring this six-week course, students will learn composition, storyboarding, anatomy, and the use of bubbles within the comic book medium. Each week, we will study a sample work of art to draw inspiration. Each student will create their own one to two-page short story comic/manga during the duration of the class.

    • Sketchbook of any size: Nothing tiny or mini
    • pencils, erasers, rulers, and pens of choice
    • For traditional inking techniques and methods, please bring Waterproof India Ink, a set of nibs, and a pen holder. These can be found at: http://www.dickblick.com/products/speedball-sketching-project-set/ and https://www.dickblick.com/categories/drawing/fine-writing/inks/
    • IPads or tablets are fine if a student has one and would prefer to work digitally
