Born in Canton, Ohio, I have always loved to draw. I graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Though printmaking was my major, I fell in love with oils, which is what is displayed today.

My career eventually took me to Key West for a few years and to Tampa, where I began to experiment with mixed media of watercolor and pastels.
