Black Art Matters celebrates the peaks and valleys of all black lives in the past, the present, and the possibilities of the future. Some of the artwork explores struggle, tears, laughter, frustration, and hope. Other pieces depict the unwavering faith, power, character, endurance, and fearlessness experienced from generation to generation.
My works are vibrant cityscape/urban landscape paintings in acrylic on stretched canvas, expressing my vision of the world around me in a light-hearted style. Created with bold composition and brilliant saturated color, my play on perspective, vanishing points, depth of field, and use of color make these works unique.
