At age 40, a neighbor asked me if I wanted to join her for an evening art class. A few basic classes later, “Light against dark” became a skill. At the age of 83, I began painting again – and haven’t stopped since. My days are filled with creating art, searching for inspiration, and sharing my work with fellow residents to brighten their days and spark conversation.
Through my paintings, I hope to encourage others to embrace creativity at any age. My journey is a testament to the idea that it’s never too late to begin something new. I hope my work will be a celebration of resilience, lifelong learning and the power of art to connect and uplift.
