Black Art Matters graphic - 1x1

On display in the Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center:

Main Theatre Gallery: Black Art Matters presented by the Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center

Black Art Matters is about celebrating the peaks and valleys of black lives in the past, the present, and the possibilities of the future. The show incorporates pieces from local artists that explore black people’s struggles, tears, laughter, frustration, and hope.

Art that depicts the unwavering faith, power, and character, the endurance and fearlessness experienced generation upon generation.

Art that conveys depth provokes discussion and even makes people uncomfortable.
