
Cheryl Yellowhawk is a fine artist specializing in oil, watercolor, and pastel painting. She has a BFA from UNM and IAIA. Her work is deeply inspired by beautiful women, the connection between mother and child, Native American Culture, the serene landscapes of New Mexico, and the delicate essence of flowers. Her work captures a mood and her sense of wonder.
In addition, Cheryl is an accomplished painting teacher, author (Finding Grace Through Grief), and radio personality. Her four-part radio series with CUTV discusses the healing power of art and how she healed herself from PTSD and DID.
