    This workshop will cover the following:

    • Essential watercolor styles: washes, wet-on-wet, and dry brushing
    • Color Theory: mixing colors and creating harmonious palettes
    • Brush Control: using different brushes to achieve various effects
    • Composition: the principles of composition to develop balanced and dynamic artwork

  • Required Materials
    • Chromatek Watercolor paint set – 62 piece kit or Grabi 50 vibrant colors
    • Watercolor paper such as Art-N-Fly watercolor paper pad 9×12″
    • 2 pack cold press watercolor sketchbook – Canson or Strathmore Watercolor paper are also appropriate (preferably 140 lb cold pressed or higher)
    • a selection of brushes (round and flat)
    • Watercolor palette for mixing colors
    • Paper towels (no rags)
    • Water container
