
Tampa native and violinist Tiffany Lu returns to town as the guest artist to join pianist Franz Mantini for this year’s edition of Strings in the Spring. The program will feature Sonatas by Bach and Beethoven, as well as a collection of delightful shorter works by Kreisler, Debussy, Bartok, Shostakovich, and Mason Bates.
ABOUT VIOLINIST TIFFANY LU
Ms. Lu is Assistant Professor and Director of Orchestra at the University of Florida, and Music Director of the renowned Pierre Monteux School and Music Festival in Hancock, Maine. She maintains an active performing profile as an orchestral violinist, chamber music collaborator, and private violin teacher. She was raised in Carrollwood and holds degrees from Princeton University, Ithaca College, and the University of Maryland.
