Zentangle Art Method

  • Class Description

NEW: The Zentangle Art Method (ZAM) is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create no mistakes in abstract art.

Students will learn by drawing repetitive patterns (tangles) in eight simple steps. Learn how instrumental music and five strokes can help you easily draw circular, curved, dots, geometric, and grid patterns as you become aware of patterns in everyday life. This meditative art form is considered yoga for the mind with its ability to increase focus, creativity, and artistic satisfaction. It also provides an increased sense of personal well-being. Whether one is a seasoned artist or a beginner, there is no prior drawing experience necessary in therapeutic art. Students will leave the class having created their beautiful tile, knowing that anything is possible, one stroke at a time.
