DESCRIPTION:Carrollwood Cultural Center and Director Jordan Patterson will hold auditions for The Colors of My Life Cabaret.\nThe Colors of My Life Cabaret is a collection of artists communicating their stories in living color and tangible expression. The vision of this showcase is to expose\, encourage\, and celebrate all walks of life and forms of art. We are looking for enthusiastic painters\, singers\, dancers\, poets\, musicians\, and actors to perform 5 to 7-minute sets in a cabaret-style format. \nAuditions: \n\nTuesday\, September 12 / 6-9 p.m.\nWednesday\, September 13 / 6-9 p.m.\n\nAudition Requirements: \n\nThere is no musical accompaniment. You must bring your own background music on a CD.\nEach performer will have 2 minutes to present their act\nCome dressed comfortably and colorfully\n\nPerformances: \n\nSaturday\, October 14 / 8 p.m.\nSunday\, October 15 / 2 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe Center is committed to equity\, diversity\, and inclusion. We encourage individuals of all abilities\, races\, ethnicities\, gender identities\, sexual orientations\, creeds\, and ages to apply.
