Programs Director

Pay Range: DOQ / Benefits include: health and dental

Major Job Duties Summary:

  • Responsible for coordinating with other cultural organizations to ensure quality programming at the Center, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Collaborate effectively with the staff and management of the Center to make it successful in it’s community and it’s goals
    • Work effectively across all Center functions and roles to make operations of the Center seamless, efficient and effective
    • Coordinate with in-house artistic groups on planning annual performances
    • Establish productive partnerships and interfacing with arts organizations in all available and practical areas
      • Work with the Executive Director to develop working relationships with area organizations to provide opportunities for collaboration
    • Providing programming which provides attractive investment opportunities for commercial / financial institutions
      • Develop diversified, affordable and accessible programs for the citizens of Hillsborough County
    • Serve as a Center advocate through outreach addresses to service organizations
      • Network with local organizations to serve as an advocate of the Center
    • Collaborate with performing artists on programming and repertoire
      • Network with area performing individuals and groups to develop appropriate performance offerings
    • Coordinate school field trips with Education Director in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Arts Council
    • To provide an annual budget and plan for programming
      • Coordinate with the Executive Director to develop budget projections
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Development Director

Major Job Duties Summary:

  • Raise funds for the CCC
    • Develop annual Development plan in conjunction with the Executive Director and the Marketing Director
  • Develop and implement Fundraising strategies
  • Maintain positive public relations through local opportunities
  • Research, write and manage grants program.
  • Provide leadership for identifying and securing new funding sources.
  • Manage and implement membership and corporate membership program
  • Solicit contributions from corporations, foundations, and others to support CCC programs and administration through
    • Sponsorships
    • Solicitation of major donors
    • Special Events
  • Collaborate with the staff to plan and execute the conception, promotion and selling of all the services offered at the CCC
  • Work on marketing and development strategy with clients and performers such to secure appropriate corporate sponsorship
  • Conduct Market research in conjunction with the Marketing & Community Relations Director
  • Work effectively across all Center functions and roles to make operations of the Center seamless, efficient and effective
  • Help to promote the organization in all aspects
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Arts & Culture Instructor

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is seeking part-time arts and culture instructors for its year-round programming.

The Center is equipped with studio space for art (painting, drawing, etc.), ceramics studio, computer-based programs, dance, music, and theatre, in addition to several multi-purpose rooms for other classroom-orientated courses like a foreign language, creative writing, yoga, and Tai Chi. The Center offers a multitude of in-person and virtual sessions. Several classes have been part of the curriculum since 2008.

Classes are offered for all ages ranging from 3 to 103. All instructors are background checked. Any instructors applying to work with minors must be Level II certified.

Please email Education Director Katie Castonguay at [email protected] with the requested information below to request scheduling an interview.

1.) A resume with credentials and three references.

2.) Provide the specified age range for your proposed class. An instructor must be Level II certified to teach a children’s class or workshop.

3.) Provide two options for the time and day of your proposed class (for example Mondays at 3 p.m. and Wednesdays at 5 p.m.) and specify dates for the class. Provide the ideal duration for each class meeting (for example 45 minutes per class meeting).

4.) Write a description of the class. Provide a list of any necessary materials and set up for the class whether provided by the instructor or students.
