Introduction to Argentine Tango

  • Class Description

Have you seen Argentine Tango in movies, stage shows, or television and thought it would be fun to learn? You can!

Argentine Tango is a social dance that is popular with adults around the USA and around the world. Here in the Tampa Bay area, Argentine Tango events occur almost every night of the week. Michael Voris and Eunkyung Na, Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Argentine Tango instructors, will introduce the history and music of the dance and demonstrate social Argentine Tango as danced in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Participants will get the chance to learn the tango walk and a few basic steps.

No partner (or experience) is necessary to register. It only takes YOU to tango!
