For 18 months, photographer Renato Rampolla met with homeless people on the side of roads, under over-passes, make-shift camps, and in alleys throughout the United States. He listened to their stories and took their portraits.
There are over 550,000 homeless people in the U.S. alone and they are living — rather they are existing — a deplorable existence.
Rampolla will host a lecture to discuss his book of portraits, excerpts of their conversations, and poetry that he considered as he met with them.
