The Carrollwood Cultural Center is having a FIRE SALE on all of our donated books to benefit the 2021 Summer Camp Tuition Assistance Campaign.
Fiction, non-fiction, novels, resource books, cookbooks, children’s books, books about travel, books about religion…we’ve got HUNDREDS of books! In fact, our bookstore is overflowing thanks to donations from the community and our partners at the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library.
To help make room for more donations, the Center will host a $1 donation-per-book sale during regular operating hours on Monday, April 26 thru Saturday, May 8. We will move books into our lobby to create more space for shopping. Donations will go toward the 2021 Summer Camp Tuition Assistance Campaign, which will directly assist families with sending their child(ren) to camp this year.
About the 2021 Summer Camp Tuition Assistance Campaign
As an extension of the Tom Jones Tuition Assistance Fund, the 2021 Summer Camp Tuition Assistance Campaign will help raise funds for qualifying families to send their children to summer camp at the Carrollwood Cultural Center. This year, our goal is to raise $2,500, which will enable us to award approximately 15 week-long spots throughout the summer. Click here to view the application process for awarding funds.
Special thanks to our volunteer librarian, Barbara Kime, and the many volunteers who have helped sanitize and label the books.
