FOOD & FOLK-ART FESTIVAL IS COMING TO CARROLLWOOD ON MAY 21

Carrollwood Village will host its inaugural Food & Folk-Art Festival on Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa.

The outdoor event* will feature food trucks, storytelling and puppetry with Windell Campbell at 11 a.m., a folk dance performance with Grupo Folklorico Mahetzi at noon, and live music with Liam Bauman (pictured) at 1:15 p.m., Rebekah Pulley at 2:45 p.m., His Hem at 4:15 p.m., and Ari Chi at 5:45 p.m.

The event will occur under the trees behind the Carrollwood Cultural Center at Lowell and Casey Roads. Concertgoers can bring lawn chairs and sun umbrellas. Artisan vendors will be available, and attendees will be invited to participate in a community art project.

The Food & Folk-Art Festival is a free, family-friendly community event presented by Carrollwood Village HOAs.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a mission of creating culture through community and community through culture.
