About Cry Loud, Spare Not

We’ve all heard the phrase. “A drunk mind speaks sober thoughts,” but what if being drunk is the issue in the first place?  Addiction affects us all. It’s not just the person who can’t put the bottle down. It’s The US, the We.  Some days, we have the courage to scream out for help. Some days, we can barely handle the truth plaguing our own minds.

We’re also told that if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. But sometimes, it’s the hard things, the painful things that must be said, declared, and cried aloud. And one thing is for sure: no one is safe when the foundation of a home is built on lies, and bridges are sparked away from being burned.

This is a story of forgiveness, faith, and fighting for who you love.

About playwright/director Jordan Patterson

Jordan Patterson

Jordan Patterson

From the ripe age of 12, I have always loved music and theatre. I started piano lessons at the age of 13 and quickly found out that everything that had to do with the performing arts was what God had put me on this earth to do. I teach piano, vocal, and acting classes at Carrollwood Cultural Center and Song and Dance Studio. I recently released my first Christian Electric Lofi Album, On Earth, under my artist name, Xo, Palace.

My heart is to create performing art that glorifies Jesus! So you will hear a Christian perspective on all of the work that I do! I love creating roles for the ones who typically get overlooked and don’t fit the typical type cast. Originally from Illinois but with roots in Alabama, I am a down-home city girl! I now strive every day to live by this quote I created: “If God is glorified, then I am satisfied!”
