2021 Themes

WK 1: Around the World (June 7-11)

Join us as we travel the world! We won’t need a plane just our imaginations! Students will travel the Center and learn about many different cultures and countries through art, music, theatre and dance. It is sure to be a fantastic journey!

WK 2: Off to Never Never Land (June 14-18)

Second star to the right and straight on till morning, students will create their own Never Never land memories. They will design booby traps for Captain Hook, drum with Tiger Lily, and host a fancy imaginary food fight. Pirates, mermaids, fairies, and lost boys with so many stories to be told! Think a happy thought and join us for a week full of adventure and imagination.

WK 3: Monster Mania (June 21-25)

It’s alive…. ALIVE!!!! Creepy, crawly, crazy, kooky creations straight from the imaginations of campers, this week is sure to be filled with monsters from all walks of life. Campers may do the worm on stage, sing about flying purple people eaters, and unleash aliens of epic proportions on the world? Gasp! It promises to be the fuzziest or perhaps the slimiest week of the summer.

WK 4: Wet, Wild & Wacky (June 28-30) / *3-day week

Welcome to the Carrollwood Camp Water Games 2021! Campers attend three fun-filled days of wet, wild, and wacky water games. Each day will include an outside water activity along with art, music, theatre, and dance. There is no Show-and-Share this week.

WK 5: Superheroes! (July 5-9)

In a world… where trouble lurks round every corner we need SUPERHEROES! Campers will train with us honing their skills, dodge intense obstacles and design their hero logo! The heroes write their stories and show it all off in a supercharged show-and-share. Students come discover your hidden superpowers.

WK 6: Wild Frontier Week (July 12-16)

Yee-Haw! Dust off your boots and join us for a grand ole time out west. Campers will sing camp fire songs, learn how to lasso, do a little square dancin’ and have a hootenanny of a time at the ole’ Carrollwood Cultural Corral.

WK 7: Game Show Extravaganza (July 19-23)

Come on down! Campers will participate in creating their very own game shows, write jingles, and compete in obstacle courses designed by camp friends.

WK 8: Camp Hollywood (July 26-30)

Have your people call our people and get into the hottest camp this side of the summer! Your stars and starlets will get their own star on the walk of fame by writing Oscar worthy skits, painting this decades’ master piece, and performing on Carrollwood Camp’s Got Talent.

WK 9: Laugh Riot Comedy Week (August 2-6)

Knock, knock. Who’s there? It’s Comedy Week! Campers bring their best jokes and gags to polish as they learn different facets of comedy. Students will study the importance of timing and punch line.
