DESCRIPTION:The Carrollwood Community Chorus is open to anyone\, regardless of experience\, as long as you have a song in your heart. From the campfire to the Red Carpet\, members from all walks of life come together to share their gift and love of song. The chorus performs regularly at the Center\, local events and has even been known to “pop up” in crowds around the holidays. Exhibitions and artists with work on display include: \nMain Exhibit: People\, Places & Things presented by The Gallery and The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay\n \nFeatured Artists (Lobby Gallery): The Hot Days of Summer by TESA\n \nCorridor Gallery: Adventures in Art by Jenifer Madson\n \nArtist Corner: Behind My Mask by Keila Small \nAtrium Gallery: Elizabeth Ventura\n \n\nAnnamarie Smith-Butz \nAbout vocalist Annamarie Smith-Butz\nAnnamarie Smith-Butz moved back to Tidewater with her husband\, Wolf\, in 1999 after almost 16 years in New York. Having covered 28\,000 miles playing Eliza in the national tour of My Fair Lady and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors\, she also starred in such theatrical productions as Call Me Madame\, Can Can\, Shenandoah\, Oliver! and The King And I. She traveled around the world on Holland America Cruise Lines as a headline entertainer and produced and performed a one-woman show at the Village Gate in New York City. Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of Virginia Musical Theatre\, Annamarie and her husband also co-founded AngelHaven Foundation\, a not-for-profit organization in support of children and young adults in the Hampton Roads area who demonstrate artistic vision\, potential and initiative! Most recently\, she has collaborated with the Tidewater Winds Orchestra in making Big Band and the Standard Songbook available to a wide range of audiences across Hampton Roads. \n\nNo RSVP is required.
