DESCRIPTION:Art of Life is an exhibit by Cecilia Moros in the Corridor Gallery. (Pictured: “Horizon of a Mountain Range” by Cecilia Moros) \nCecilia Moros Martin\, born in Venezuela in 1952\, never anticipated an art career. However\, 25 years ago\, inspired by an anonymous artist\, she began experimenting with colored pencils. Initially unfamiliar with the medium\, she started to sell her naive works in small formats to family and friends. Over time\, she explored acrylics and blended them with colored pencils. SUMMARY:Rehearsal: Carrollwood Winds
DESCRIPTION:The Carrollwood Winds is a concert band comprised of local community members who are committed to performance. The band performs a wide range of literature at the high school and college level. Members of the band are not beginners or novices\, rather members of the community with band experience who are looking for a venue to continue their craft. The Carrollwood Winds performs at the Carrollwood Cultural Center four to five times throughout the year and is branching out to other community and educational venues as well.
