DESCRIPTION:The Carrollwood Winds is a concert band comprised of local community members who are committed to performance. The band performs a wide range of literature at the high school and college level. Members of the band are not beginners or novices\, rather members of the community with band experience who are looking for a venue to continue their craft. The Carrollwood Winds performs at the Carrollwood Cultural Center four to five times throughout the year and is branching out to other community and educational venues as well.

DESCRIPTION:On display in the Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center:\nMain Theatre Gallery: ReART presented by the Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center \nReART is devoted to the type of art that seeks to transform waste\, such as paper\, cardboard\, wood\, glass\, plastics\, metals\, and rubber\, into works of art. Therefore\, the concept goes beyond the conventional recycling of materials by creating objects that exceed the original product’s economic\, cultural\, and social value. Teens ages 14-16 will expand beyond the stage and begin to explore lighting and sound design to create their own shows. \nThe paint is mixed\, and the stage is set. So\, cue the music and prepare to dance through a summer loaded with creativity\, friends\, and memories! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
