DESCRIPTION:Adventures in Filmmaking: Silent Film June 22-July 10\nA Summer Intensive for Ages 11-13. \nLet inspiration strike and put it on film! Students will be presented with film genres and then storyboard them into short films or videos. Working with film buffs and professionals\, the sky is the limit to what they will create! Students will create a short vignette from start to finish in three weeks. With an era or genre chosen by the instructors\, campers will write\, direct\, act\, and create their own filmed piece within an ensemble setting. SUMMARY:Summer Intensive: The Lightning Thief
DESCRIPTION:“The Lightning Thief: Theatre for Young Audiences Edition” The Percy Jackson MusicalJune 1-26\nA Summer Intensive for Ages 14-17. \nA 70-minute\, one-act adaptation of the Broadway hit! When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s a demigod\, he and his friends embark on an epic journey to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods. As the half-blood son of a Greek god\, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control\, a destiny he doesn’t want\, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen\, and Percy becomes the prime suspect\, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest\, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief.
