SUMMARY:The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition
DESCRIPTION:Join us as campers ages 11-13 enrolled in our 3-week Youth Arts Intensive program perform The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition.\nJoin Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz\, determined to reach the Emerald City\, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course\, along the way\, Dorothy encounters witches (good and bad)\, Munchkins\, talking trees\, and winged monkeys. But most importantly\, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain\, a Tin Man with no heart\, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness and self–awareness is a glowing testament to friendship\, understanding\, and hope in a world filled with beauty and ugliness. \nADMISSION: Admission to this performance is free\, and tickets are not required. DESCRIPTION:The minds that brought you Tales of Mild Interest (or TMI for short) are returning to their improv roots\, with the newly formed Tampa Metropolitan Improv (or TMI for short)!\nCome for a riotously good time\, and perhaps even play along with us\, as we perform short-form improv games using suggestions from you\, the audience (think along the lines of Whose Line is it Anyway\, or Dropout TV’s Make Some Noise). No two TMI shows are alike\, but rest assured\, we bring a saucy\, edgy\, extremely cool\, and hip PG-13 rating to the function that most of the family can enjoy! \nYou’ll laugh! You’ll cry! (Hopefully\, the crying is from the laughter.) But who knows…it’s improv\, baby! \n\nAdmission: Free for members / $5 general admission \n\nThis is a ticketed event.
