SUMMARY:The 3Js: A Tribute to Jim\, Janis & Jimi (postponed)
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, due to unforeseen circumstances\, this event is postponed. We look forward to hosting The 3Js: A Tribute to Jim\, Janis & Jimi in 2025.  If you’ve purchased tickets to this event\, you will be contacted with options. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. \n\nJoin The Doors of Perception and George Pennington for this musical tribute to Jim Morrison\, Janis Joplin\, and Jimi Hendrix. \nThey were three of the most influential songwriters and musicians of their time\, lending their talents to the soundtrack of the 1960s with their signature styles\, creating an indelible impression on future generations. Their unique sounds are recognizable within just a few beats\, and you know you are listening to Jim\, Janis\, or Jimi. \nTheir explosion into American culture was met with even more deafening silence as the world lost all three between September 1970 and July 1971. All three were gone. All three were just 27 years old.  \nHowever\, what they left behind still transports us back to the music revolution of the 1960s and influences today’s musicians. \n\nAdmission: $22 member / $27 general admission \n♦ This event will have a cash bar. \n\nPlease consider donating to the Center when registering for classes or purchasing tickets. Your donation can be as simple as rounding your total to the nearest five or ten dollars — or whatever amount you wish to give. Thank you for your contribution!

SUMMARY:New Horizons
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the excitement of the season with New Horizons – a multi-faceted band that plays for the joy of performing music.\nThe New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA) is a worldwide organization with over 250 New Horizons groups and 10\,000 members. Some members played music during their school years and stashed their instruments in a closet or attic while the demands of work and raising children took center stage. Others dreamt of being musicians but never had the opportunity or the money to pay for lessons and instruments when they were school-age. Both groups find themselves now at or near retirement with children grown and gone\, fewer responsibilities\, but just as much desire. \n\n\nPlease consider making a donation when registering for classes or purchasing tickets.
