DESCRIPTION:A Seasonal Tradition!\n\n\nThe Holiday Trees Display & Auction is a fundraiser for the Carrollwood Cultural Center. View and bid on a variety of themed holiday trees displayed in our lobby. Proceeds benefit our Tom Jones Tuition Assistance Fund\, which provides children from families with low income the opportunity to attend Summer Camp for free or reduced tuition. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe online auction will open on November 6 at 9 p.m. and close on December 10 at 9 p.m. \n\n\n\n  \nIf you prefer not to bid on a tree but want to donate to the Tom Jones Tuition Assistance Fund\, please CLICK HERE. \n(The online auction is available 24 hours a day\, seven days a week\, regardless of the Center’s hours of operation. If you want to visit the Center in person\, please refer to the calendar to ensure we are open. You may also call (813) 922-8167.)

SUMMARY:AUDITION: Sunday in the Park
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE for show and performance information. \nCarrollwood Cultural Center and show director Paul Berg will hold auditions for Sunday in the Park with George. Inspired by “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” by George Seurat\, this musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim\, with orchestrations by Michael Starobin\, brings Seurat’s painting to life on stage.  Sunday in the Park with George was produced initially on Broadway by The Shubert Organization and Emanuel Azenberg by arrangement with Playwrights Horizon\, Inc. New York City\, which produced the original production of Sunday in The Park With George in 1983. \nPlease be prepared to sing 16 bars from a musical. You may use a Sondheim song from any of his other musicals. An accompanist will be provided\, but you are also welcome to sing with a track you bring. You may also be asked to sing songs from the production during the rehearsal process. Video submissions are also welcome. Please send videos to auditions@carrollwoodcenter.org. \nIMPORTANT PRODUCTION DATES\nAuditions: November 12 and 13\, at 6-8 pm. \nPossible Callbacks: November 14 \nRehearsals Begin: Rehearsals will begin in January. Rehearsals will run Monday through Thursday\, 7 pm – 9 pm. She is so discontent with their relationship that she eventually leaves him.
