DESCRIPTION:Sue Beach received her Bachelor’s and Master of Art Education degrees from SUNY Buffalo State College. After a career of teaching art\, she retired to Spring Hill\, Florida\, where she creates drawings and paintings in a wide variety of media. Her artwork has won awards with the Dunedin Fine Art Center\, Hernando County Fine Arts Council\, and Pastel Society of Tampa Bay and has been juried into the Adirondack National Pastel Exhibition\, Philadelphia Pastel Society 1st National Open Juried Exhibition\, along with the Florida Watercolor Society’s Online Exhibits. \nSue is a member of the Dunedin Fine Art Center\, Florida Watercolor Society\, Pastel Society of Tampa Bay\, and T.E.S.A. SUMMARY:Rehearsal: New Horizons
DESCRIPTION:The New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA) is a worldwide organization comprised of more than 250 New Horizons groups with 10\,000 members. Some played music during their school years and stashed their instrument in a closet\, or attic while the demands of work and raising children took center stage. Others dreamt of being a musician but never had the opportunity\, or the money to pay for lessons and instruments when they were school age. Both groups find themselves now at or near retirement with children grown and gone\, fewer responsibilities\, but just as much desire. \nThe NHIMA provides opportunities for adults to be involved in a band – whether it’s for the first time\, or the first time in a long time.
