About this Artist
Mishou Sanchez is a Tampa native. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. She has been a 2-time Guggenheim Grant finalist, developed a life-saving permaculture system for refugees in Darfur, Sudan, and has done design work in the homes of Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, and Cindy Crawford. She is the designer of Tampa Mercado, a retail complex for small business incubators using shipping containers. She is an active artist with international clients and collectors from around the world.
