Nutrition
and food preparation is important to everyone. Good cooking is a universal
language. Eating what we prepare is very satisfying. Students will participate
in making French toast, Sloppy Joes, Banana Pudding and Candlestick Salad.
Additional lesson plan topics include: kitchen safety, hand washing and gloves
wearing, temperature of food before and after its cooked, food preparation,
nutrition, weights and measures, table manners, table settings, reading of
labels and more.

Fee:
Students will be required to pay a one-time fee of $5 for ingredients. The
materials feel should be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
