EARLY MORNING CAMP with Ellia Sliwiak
7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
(all ages)

Early Morning Camp will give campers an opportunity to participate in age-appropriate social activities; like games, story telling and crafts, while parents with hectic schedules will enjoy the convenience of the early camp time.

AIRPLANES ADVANCED with Dean Mackey
9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
(ages 9-12)

Campers enrolled in this camp must have previous experience with either Airplanes 101 or 102 because in Airplanes Advanced, campers will learn how to create their own designs! Using their own skills, campers will decide what kind of plane they wish to make and will be guided along the path to its completion. Once created, campers will learn how to teach others how to make the plane by making step-by-step instructions for a book to be compiled at the end of the week.

FUN ART & MUSIC with Sandra Pratt
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 2-4)

Campers will use their imaginations to be creative through art, music and storytelling. Well-known fairytales and beloved children’s stories will be used as the basis for age-appropriate art projects throughout the week. This week’s story: The Three Pigs.

PIANO with Dion Caines
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 4-6)
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
(ages 7-12)

Campers who desire to learn basic, beginning keyboard skills will enjoy this activity. This camp will introduce the essential habits of proper posture, seating position, basic concepts of keyboard playing, note reading in treble and bass clefs, fingering and rhythm. Campers will be encouraged to learn at his or her own pace in a fun-filled atmosphere. Campers are invited to take multiple weeks in piano; however, register early. Space is limited to eight campers.

RAINFOREST ANIMALS with Linda Laird Cox
9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
(ages 9-12)

It’s a jungle out there! Millions of acres of fascinating mammals, birds, reptiles, flowers and trees live in the rainforest. Campers will learn the basic skill of illustration to create their own unique artwork using authentic artist tools such as watercolor pencils, colored pencils, drawing pencils and markers. The illustrating techniques are easy to learn because they incorporate basic shapes and true principles of art. Campers will learn how to spot the basic patterns and shading that make a fantastic drawing. This week will feature a macaw, golden lion, tamarin and an emerald tree boa.

YOGA with Catherine Marzo
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 4-6)

Campers will participate in yoga exercises with My Yoga Cat! Campers will review yoga exercises, breathing techniques, animal magic, my space/your space, focus, balance and the power of positive thinking.

AIRPLANES 101 with Dean Mackey
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 6-8)

Campers will learn how to make ten different paper airplanes. Geared for beginners, this activity will cover the basics of construction and trimming paper airplanes. Using everyday copier paper, these planes start simple, but will increase in complexity throughout the week.

CHORAL ROCK with Stephanie Santora
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 9-12)

In this camp, campers will learn the basics of choral singing while learning fun, upbeat music. In addition, campers will set the music to choreography and learn stage presence and performance preparation as they sing along to today’s popular Pop and Broadway music in an American Idol-style workshop.

STRINGS with Helen Bailey
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (all ages;
at least one year of experience required)

This camp is for campers with a basic understanding of violin, viola, cello or bass. Campers will play music from Beethoven to Bluegrass...and a few things in between. Campers should be able to read music and play the first three notes of the D and A strings before enrolling in this camp. Students will experience the thrill of playing with a string orchestra and reading beginning orchestral music.

YOU CAN DRAW with Linda Laird Cox
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 5-8)

Campers will learn the basic skill of illustrating to create their own unique fantasy artwork. Watercolor pencils, colored pencils, pencils and markers will be used to create colorful designs. This week will feature a castle, wizard, knight, princess and a sea monster.
